NAO expands private equity offering with direct investment funds

Berlin, January 09, 2025 — NAO, the innovative co-investment platform for alternative investments (https://www.investnao.com), is expanding its private equity offering. To this end, NAO is cooperating with Partners Group, a leading global provider of private investments. From now on, private investors can invest from 1,000 euros in the “Partners Group Private Market Opportunities” fund via the NAO app.

Expanding the investment universe: First direct investment fund for the NAO community

With this partnership, NAO is expanding its portfolio to include its first direct investment fund. The “Partners Group Private Markets Opportunities” (ISIN: LU2762282007) invests directly in a broadly diversified portfolio of fast-growing private companies. The portfolio includes investments in Breitling, a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, and GlobalLogic, a leading software engineering service provider from the USA. The partnership with NAO makes this fund available to private investors with small investment amounts for the first time.

NAO sets new milestone in digital asset management

Since the end of August 2023, NAO has been offering access to a UBS Private Equity Secondary Funds and since December 2024 to Moonfare Private Equity Eltif. This gives investors the opportunity to invest in a portfolio of private equity funds and co-investments. The Partners Group Private Markets Opportunities ELTIF, on the other hand, focuses on direct initial investments in private companies. These are carefully selected and managed by Partners Group. By expanding its offering, NAO enables private investors to diversify their exposure to the private equity asset class with a further private equity strategy.

The volume of investments in private equity has risen steadily in recent years. Traditionally, access to this asset class was restricted to very wealthy or institutional investors. NAO breaks this barrier and makes private equity accessible to a wider audience. Thanks to the low entry threshold, NAO opens up new investment horizons and enables investors to invest in alternative investments starting at just 1,000 euros.
