NAO starts cooperation with multi-asset manager FERI

Exclusive access for private investors to US EquityFlex, which systematically outperforms the S&P 500
Berlin, October 10, 2024 — The Berlin-based FinTech NAO (https://www.investnao.com) is expanding its partner network and starting cooperation with FERI AG. FERI currently manages around 60 billion euros in AuM, including around 18 billion euros in alternative investments, and is one of the most renowned multi-asset investment houses in German-speaking countries. Through the cooperation with FERI AG, NAO is expanding its portfolio to include further investment products that were previously only available in a special tranche to institutional or very wealthy investors. Following collaborations with Baader Bank, Chartered Investments, UBS, UniCredit and Vontobel, this is now the sixth partnership on the way to becoming the leading platform for private and alternative investments.
Exclusive access to institutional funds for NAO users
To kick off the partnership, NAO is opening the US EquityFlex (LU1611493906) exclusively for private investors for the first time. The fund has a minimum investment amount of 1,000,000 euros. Thanks to NAO's co-investment approach, the fund can be invested by the NAO community starting at just 1,000 euros.
US EquityFlex: Systematic outperformance of the S&P 500
The US EquityFlex has the goal of systematically and without forecasting the S&P 500. With an average return of 12.76% p.a., the fund launched in 2014 outperformed the S&P 500 by an average of 2.40% per year (as of 30.09.2024) — with the same risk class. For this purpose, options transactions are used in a targeted manner to generate additional returns.
“Through our co-investment approach, we enable private investors to invest from 1,000 euros that otherwise require a seven-figure minimum investment,” explains Robin Binder, CEO and founder of NAO. “We create access to private markets and alternative investments so that our users as well as institutional investors can participate in top-class investment opportunities. ”
“As FERI, we are pleased to be able to open up our exclusive concepts to another group of customers through this partnership,” says Marcel Renné, CEO of FERI AG. “After many years of successful cooperation in various functions, I am pleased to now further expand our joint expertise in this partnership and thus provide a wider range of investors with access to our investment solutions,” adds Aschkan Arefnia, Director Fund Solutions at FERI AG. “This cooperation combines FERI's expertise in multi-asset management with NAO's innovative co-investment approach.”
